Fun with LEDs

This intensive workshop will teach you how to incorporate LEDs into unconventional materials. You'll learn how to power an LED, and basic LED circuitry. From there, you'll learn how to use LEDs for throwie inspired art, incorporate LEDs into stickers using conductive paint, make LED beads to sew onto fabric, and much more.
Included in the price of the workshop are batteries, a big bunch of LEDs, resistors, beads, conductive paint, conductive thread, and much more.
This is a great first class if you've never made a circuit or have done any electronic work. They are also fairly inexpensive, so they are a great tool for artists to experiment with.
Note: If you would like to use LEDs with T shirts or other apparel, please bring clothing items to the class. We'll show you how to sew them in.
This class is great in conjunction with out Graffiti Sticker Stencil class as you can combine the LEDs with your graffiti sticker work for a truly unique design.
